Hawaii Island Recovery Our Saturday excursion to Akaka and rainbow falls was absolutely stunning this weekend. The falls were raging with some extra rainfall the island had giving us for an extraordinary view. Akaka falls is one of the Big Islands jewels as it is easily accessibly and provides stunning views of the 420ft waterfall and the surrounding vegetation.
