Aloha, Hawaii Island Recovery (HIR)
The experience at HIR has been remarkable. The integration of 1:1 therapy coupled with the 12 step method of A.A., lent itself to the beginning of a longterm solution for sobriety. In addition to the 1:1 therapy, HIR offered group therapy with various counselors. One of the most beneficial therapies happened off-site-out-of-the-office. We had
the opportunity to do therapeutic work in nature. For me, being in nature
allowed me to heal without the stigma of an office setting. The clinical staff was fantastic. The residential staff was supportive and comforting. HIR has created an environment with structure and support when
needed. A customized solution for sobriety! Overall, a wonderful experience.
