On the Road to Recovery
Hawaii Island Recovery helped get me on the road to recovery. Kind of like a jump start and a push in the right direction. They
also provided the tools I will need along the way and the encouragement to keep going. But that wasn’t all. The overall experience gave me
a new lease on life. It happened without me even noticing! I learned patience and acceptance. I became more open-minded and social. I began waking
up at 6 am and falling asleep by 11 pm – naturally! I have strengthened my relationship with God. I formed a lifelong friendship and gained a source of support. I feel energized throughout the day, I am able to deal with stressful situations, but most of all, I am happy! And for that, I am incredibly grateful.
