What is this event all about?
There are about 50,000 people that get infected with AIDS every year and over 1.2 million HIV cases in the country. As a response to this crisis, the HIV/AIDS Foundation spearheads the 18th annual taste of life benefit in the Big Island to ask for your support. The event will be held this August 22, 2015, at King Kamehameha’s Kona Beach Hotel, Kailua Kona.

You can taste the best cuisines from the top chefs in the Big Island as you generously support the Hawaii Island HIV/AIDS Foundation’s advocacy against hepatitis and HIV. Meet Burlesque Women!
Pin Up Burlesque is a group of women who offer workshops to ladies out there who would like to learn about the burlesque choreography. They will do a series of workshops called Burlesque 101 this September 2015 to help women develop self-love by learning how to dance with glitz and glamour, and exude the Burlesque Confidence? So if you are struggling with “I don’t deserve it” attitude, it’s time to put the heels on and join these burlesque girls during the annual taste of life benefit! Learn to pamper yourself, feel flirty, sexy and fab! Pin Up Burlesque will perform on-stage during the event.

Jam with the Rainbow Band!
Rainbow Band is a group of musicians who love to perform classic Rock and the best R&B from the ’60s to ’70s. Dance the night away with high energy dance music from Jack Martin-the guitarist and violinist, Alan Shapiro-the drummer, and Rainbow Page-the vocalist and percussion and Joe Conti on Chapman Stick. If you love to dance you will definitely like the night of music and dancing where you get to sing and dance on the tune of your favorite songs.
