My experience here at HIR has been an emotional rollercoaster ride

My experience here at Hawaii Island Recovery has been an emotional rollercoaster ride. At the beginning of my stay, I had a mindset of complete hopelessness not only in myself but simply living life, thinking there could not possibly be a way out of my addiction. Thankfully with the amazing love and support of HIR staff, my sponsor, AA, 12 Step program, and my higher power, I have been brought out of a dark place in my life, and have been blessed with the opportunity to see beauty in myself, others, and living a clean, sober life.
