What’s the purpose of this event? It is aims to help caregivers care for themselves while taking care of their loved ones.
Why you need to attend this event?
There are around 44 million Americans providing care and support to older family members or adults with disabilities. According to caregiver.org most of the family caregivers are not prepared for their role. Most of them provide care to others while they are also psychologically or physically unwell. So, it is not surprising that many family caregivers end up having mental, emotional and physical illness because of complicated situations while giving support to others.
