Why Run for Hope?

Do you want to stay healthy and fab while supporting cancer research in Hawaii? If “yes” now is the time to get those running shoes. Get ready for the 2015 run for Hope events to be held on September 13, 2015, at the Four Seasons Hualalai at the Kohala Coast! The money you give will be used to care for cancer patients and to fund the cancer research projects to prevent, treat and hopefully, totally eliminate cancer incidence. It will also help to educate cancer patients and their families as well as those high-risk individuals about the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of cancer.

I am not an athlete, how can I help?

The Run for Hope is an event where participants simply have fun, meet new people and explore the area while running for a cause. Forget about the pressure of winning because the race is non-competitive in nature.

The race starts at seven o’clock in the morning (7 AM) at the Four Seasons Resort. Choose which race you would like to join. You can choose between the 10-K run and the 5-K run/walk. For a minimum donation of $30 which you have to pay a day before the race or $35 if you pay at the door just before the race starts, you also get a free t-shirt as a souvenir.

Visit www.runforhopehualalai.com for more details or you can call them at 1-808-325-8052.

Thrilled already? There’s more! Before you get too excited in sweating it out, get a peek of the equally exciting activities, two days before the actual race.

Day 2: Golf and Tennis Tournaments

Saturday, September 12, 2015, marks the Golf and Tennis Tournaments at the Hualalai Golf Course. Get to choose between Hualalai Golf Course or Rebound Ace surface courts.
